Sports Clubs 2026
Every event matters, and you have got to be good at something right?
You know how good your club is at their chosen sport, there are like league tables, cup competitions that give a pretty good indication as to where you are at, but what if your club members were actually good at something else?
Well, as we have set up these events, seems a good way to find out, its like entering your club into an Olympics but with an emphasis on social fun and a bit of sporting talent.
HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK

Sports Clubs are invited to show their members all round ability, brainpower and creativity and enter the adjacent Bristol Club Slam which utilises the events operated solely by BCS26.

There will be a minimum of eight social and sporting events in 2026:

Clubs will be awarded points per event with 12 points down to 1pt for the leading teams in each event.

There are bonus Social Impact points for the top three fundraising teams in BCS26 operated events.

Each clubs THREE best Events will be averaged out to create an overall BCS26 Leader Board, with -5 points for any gaps up to the FIVE. (i.e. if you do three events your overall total will be deducted -10 points).

The same people don’t have to do each event – it is designed to encourage wide participation amongst THE CLUB MEMBERSHIP.

In the numerous events where you can put more than one team in, we will carry forward the points of the highest finisher from your club..

Each event will have a few other rules, but worry about that on the day right?

FLIGHT CLUB (Darts)
14TH JANUARY 2026: 6PM
What is the first rule of Flight Club?
You have immense fun at Flight Club!
Teams of two (multiple club entries allowed) take on rivals through four challenges with each Oche's winning pair taking part in the Grand Killer Final. With the package including Food and Drink, BUY NOW, as this is a perfect way to enjoy yourself in the midst of the post Christmas social slump and kickstart your tilt at Club Glory.

CYCLING VELODROME DAY (Newport)
19TH FEBRUARY 2026 2PM ONWARDS
Time for the lycra lovers to do their bit for team glory, on a day that will be hosted by a GB Medallist.
Teams of Two, (multiple club entries allowed), all equipment provided. After coaching and training, the 75 minute session will see you post a FLYING LAP time where not only do you try and beat your fellow sports people you can also try and surpass the time set by the host Medallist. Additional Q and A with athlete at a post event reception and meal at Celtic Manor.

THE BRISTOL SPORTS CLUB SLAM (Quiz)
Tuesday 10th March 2026:
After the sporting exertions of Cycling, Football and err The Darts, its time for the club intellectuals or people who randomly know weird facts to come to the party. Its a six round Quiz, its like every other quiz, save for the fact that it counts towards overall Club Glory and the winner gets to donate the winners prize fund to their Club. This will be 50% of the total generated by participating sports clubs

THURSDAY 19TH MARCH: 6PM -9PM
One for you Corporate Cricketers, as you combine with a colleague to each take on three overs of world class bowling to get the overall leading total. The evening starts with networking, and the chance to eat and drink. There is also a special guest on hand to present the winning trophies.
Food and drink packages are available to buy in advance, there is also the possibility of a Beat The Pro challenge that evening.

BRISTOL SLAM OF INDOOR GOLF
TUESDAY 24TH MARCH: 6PM ONWARDS
Not wishing to add to the hundreds of golf days already out there, we have a more fun version amidst the TreeTops of Cabot Circus. Its like the Ryder Cup of corporate golf, we have even laid on a group of New Yorkers to swear at you. Each pair is paired against a rival company so you can keep check on the scores. Pair with the lowest combined total wins. We will be playing both courses with optional food and drink packages available on request.
